Busser/Dishwasher
Bussers clean tables, clear plates, utensils and drinkware to the kitchen to be washed; tend to diners’ water glasses; reset tables for the next service. Bussers might help servers bring food out to a table, restock utensils, napkins and other side work. Requires knowledge and adherence to health and safety, safe food handling, proper hygiene, sanitary practices.
Dishwashers are responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitization of dishes, tableware, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils through manual and machine cleaning methods. Additionally, dishwashers are expected to keep the dishwashing area clean and safe; ensure the availability of clean dishes by bussing tables, and occasionally resetting dining areas; preparation of dining areas and kitchen for next shift by thoroughly cleaning; restocking of dining areas and cook stations. Requires knowledge and adherence to health and safety,, proper hygiene, sanitary practices.
